Travel scholarships include lodging and/or travel to the SACNAS National Conference. Notification of application status will
be sent via email in mid-July. All travel scholarship awardees will be required to submit a Travel Scholarship Contract by a required deadline to finalize
and activate the award; failure to submit the contract by the deadline will invalidate the travel scholarship award. Air travel and/or lodging arrangements

Failure to follow the general cancellation policy may result in financial charges to the student for air travel, lodging, and registration fees (up to $1,000 in fees).
Lodging
Undergraduate student travel scholarship recipients will be housed at a conference hotel for three (3) to four (4) nights, two (2) students per room. Number of

requiring extended flight duration to arrive at the conference location. (SACNAS reserves the right to determine arrival date.) Assigned
hotel rooms have two double beds per room. Awards cover room and tax only. Incidentals are not covered.
