Conference Activities of Special Interest to Exhibitors

Exhibitor Orientation

This orientation, designed specifically to enhance exhibitors' success in connecting with SACNAS conference attendees, will cover topics such as how to acquire additional services for your booth, shipping and receiving information, and tips on culturally appropriate techniques for attracting underrepresented minority students to your booth and/or recruiting them to your program.

Graduate Student/Postdoc Reception

Exhibitors are invited to attend a reception welcoming postdocs and interested graduate students to the SACNAS national meeting. This gathering is an excellent networking opportunity to publicize postdoctoral and professional opportunities. Bulletin boards will be available for posting such positions. Graduate students looking for postdoc positions can post their research interests and contact information to attract potential advisors. Professionals and exhibitors are encouraged to post open positions and to meet potential candidates.

Student Poster Presentations, Exhibit Hall

Friday & Saturday

The nation's top students will present their research to peers and science professionals. Over 500 posters will be reviewed for special recognition during this two-day event. Exhibitors are invited to visit students throughout the hall and ask about their presentations. Exhibitors also have the opportunity to sign up to be a mentor/judge. The abstract volume, which contains the complete listing of student presenters and research topics, will be available at the conference.

Exhibitor Feedback Session

All exhibitors are invited to provide feedback regarding the SACNAS Exhibit Hall, services and general SACNAS recruitment, advertising and outreach services. SACNAS values exhibitor participation in all conference activities; therefore any input that exhibitors can provide SACNAS is much appreciated. For exhibitors who may be leaving the conference early, this session is a chance to complete and turn in the Exhibitor Survey and the SACNAS Conference Evaluation.
