e-Mentoring Information
SACNAS-MentorNet e-Mentoring Program
New mentoring opportunities are now available to encourage and support more students going on
to college or graduate study in engineering and related sciences through a new partnership between
SACNAS and MentorNet, two nonprofit organizations dedicated
to developing the next generations of scientists and engineers.
Program Structure
The e-mentoring infrastructure offered through SACNAS-MentorNet features an in-depth profile matching
process between protégé and mentor. Once a pair is matched, the program provides a coaching curriculum that
the two participants follow via email. Training through online guides for mentoring and tutorials, and
evaluation at the end of the mentoring experience are among the program features.
In order to be matched to a SACNAS mentor or SACNAS mentee, simply create a profile via the
MentorNet Community Registration webpage.
