Humanizing STEM: The Art of Storytelling - SACNAS

Written by Lauren Chouinard | Jun 24, 2020 7:00:00 AM
The maxim goes that “if you can’t see it, you can’t be it”, and the primary mechanism for visibility in our field is who owns the narrative. In STEM, it is critical that we know who we are and how our backgrounds have shaped the value we bring to the field, but we rarely get the chance to practice our own storytelling. This webinar will explore the components of a great story, spotlights guest authors, and invites participants to submit a written pitch of their own to scientific societies.

Speakers: Kate Rose | Patricia Silveyra, PhD | Sonia Zarate, PhD | Tyler Adamson
