National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW)

Since 2009, the NPA has sponsored the National Postdoc Appreciation Week to recognize the significant contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to U.S. research and discovery. Organizations from across the world participate by holding special events. In 2010, this week was officially recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives. Events will be held throughout the week and across the country to create awareness of postdocs.

This is the 2nd time SACNAS is participating in the event. Postdocs are crucial to the scientific community and SACNAS wants to show you that we appreciate you!

For the week's events we will have a town hall, relevant webinar(s), a networking social, door prizes, and more! We will also be featuring some of our SACNISTA Postdocs throughout the week to highlight how important our Postdocs are. Interested in being featured? Submit your information and we'll choose five postdocs to feature on our social media throughout the event. Deadline to submit is Wednesday, September 14th 5pm PT!
