HOW TO VOTE

Step 1: Check your email for an email from SurveyMonkey with a link to your ballot.
Check your spam/junk folders! If you did not receive your ballot, contact members@sacnas.org.
Step 2: Click on the "Place My Vote" button in the email.
Step 3: Review the candidate profiles.
Step 4: Submit your vote by  11:59 PM PST on Friday, November 29, 2019.
Detailed instructions on how to vote will also be on your ballot.

Q1: Who is eligible to vote?

A1: All active (dues-paying) SACNAS members are eligible to vote so long as their memberships are active on October 31, 2019. Current or lapsed members can sign-in here to check their membership status. Brand new members can click here to purchase membership before October 31.

Q2: When is the deadline to vote?

A2: All votes must be submitted by 11:59 PM PST on Friday, November 29, 2019.

Q3: Where/when can I see the election results?

A3: Election results will be announced to SACNAS members and the entire SACNAS community via the December SACNAS E-newsletter and on sacnas.org in December 2019.

Q1: Who can I vote for?

A1: Professional members are eligible to vote for general board and President-Elect candidates. Professional members includes Life Members and Friends of the Society.

Q2: What do I do if I can't locate my ballot?

A2: Email members@sacnas.org with your membership-associated email address.

A1: The elected candidates will commence their terms of office in January 2020. General Board Members will serve a 3 year term expiring in December 2022. The President-Elect will serve a 4 year term expiring in December 2023 (President-Elect 2020, President 2021-2022, and Past-President 2023)
