As the Programs Coordinator for SACNAS, Sarah Sondossi’s responsibilities include managing application procedures, assisting with financial reconciliation, and overseeing the logistics of various programs like the Indigenous Marketplace and the annual SACNAS Pow Wow. Ms. Sondossi holds an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Cabrillo College and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from San Jose State University. She began her professional career in the private sector, working in the field of Human Resources. In 2018, Ms. Sondossi started working for SACNAS as Support Staff for the Programs department and she quickly realized she had been given an incredibly unique opportunity – to work alongside colleagues who not only recognize the value of the mission of the organization, but who work very hard to make that mission a reality. Due to her own passion for the advancement of science and the promotion of inclusivity, Ms. Sondossi felt that the mission of SACNAS aligned perfectly with her values, and she is very proud to be working with such a talented group of people at such an impactful organization.
