Aidee Farias is the SACNAS Grant Administration Manager. She received her Masters in Business Administration from Monterey Institute of International Studies (now Middlebury College). Ms. Farias graduated from University of California at Santa Barbara with dual degrees in Global and International Studies, and German Language and Literature.
Prior to joining SACNAS, Ms. Farias worked with community college career technical and adult education programs in a variety of roles including grant manager and strategic planning and research specialist. Ms. Farias’ work included developing and implementing grant management tools and bilingual outreach. Ms. Farias’ has experience in consulting as well. Her projects include mental health, suicide prevention and substance abuse that focused on reaching Spanish speaking and low literacy communities. She has worked with adult education consortia to develop and implement bilingual community needs assessments.
Ms. Farias is passionate about helping others, giving back to her community, and supporting institutions that work to close the academic and socio-economic gaps prevalent in historically underrepresented communities, and is privileged to be part of the SACNAS team.
