SACNAS Life Member David T. Carreon Bradley Appointed Vice President for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity

SACNAS Life Member David T. Carreon Bradley, chair of the Committee on Inclusion & Equity and associate professor of physics at Vassar College, has been appointed the vice president for inclusion, diversity and equity at Smith College. Carreon Bradley will begin work at Smith on January 18, 2018.

Dr. Bradley said, “I’m delighted to take on this new position at Smith College. As a Mexican scientist, SACNAS has been instrumental in giving me the confidence to develop my career aspirations, which has led to this new Vice President appointment. In particular, the Linton-Poodry SACNAS Summer Leadership Institute helped me build the necessary leadership skills to take on this next challenge in my career.”
