Leadership Programs

From Labs to Leadership

SACNAS invests in the next generation of diverse STEM leaders. We are dedicated to building the capacity of our scientists with the necessary leadership skills to advance their careers and lead change at the highest levels.

Our current suite of leadership programs includes the Postdoc Leadership Institute (PLI) and the Linton-Poodry SACNAS Leadership Institute (LPSLI). We also host virtual webinars on various topics related to building leadership capacities that are relevant to our SACNISTAs.

✅ Workshops to explore topics such as: Leading Change, Emotional Intelligence, Management of Bias, Leadership Development Planning, 360 Degree Assessment and more

✅ Mentorship and lunches with distinguished leaders

✅ Upon program completion, enter a network of 400+ alumni who are creating stronger, more inclusive STEM environments at academic institutions, nonprofits, government, and for-profit science companies
