SACNAS Celebrates International Women’s Day: March 8, 2018

In honor of International Women’s Day, SACNAS will #PressforProgress by celebrating the incredible achievements and contributions of our SACNISTA women during a day long social media spotlight.

International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase the accomplishments of our SACNISTAS–women from a variety of fields and backgrounds who have overcome challenges and discrimination to persist in STEM.

Worldwide, women in STEM continually face unequal pay, reduced opportunities, and underrepresentation in their education and careers. It is time to acknowledge this disparity and take action to increase diversity in science and other disciplines.

How will you #PressforProgress?
